Part-Time Management Accountant

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with an established business within the industrial lifting and equipment sector. The business is looking for an experienced finance professional to join its small and busy finance team, offering a varied position covering a broad range of accounting responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Management Accountant looking for a part-time position where they can take responsibility for the day-to-day finance function. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety and is confident managing their own workload. The position offers around 10 hours per week, with flexibility over how these hours are arranged, alongside some opportunity to work from home.

Skills Needed

• ACCA/ CIMA Qualified or QBE

• Previous experience preparing monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Strong payroll experience, including processing, reporting and maintaining accurate payroll records.

• Good all-round accounting knowledge covering VAT, nominal ledger, cashbook, purchase ledger, sales ledger and accounts payable/receivable.
