This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment designed for a seasoned professional who thrives under pressure, enjoys managing sophisticated corporate accounts, and possesses a natural flair for advanced query resolution.

Working as a trusted specialist within a friendly, high-performing finance function, you will take full accountability for a high-value portfolio of customer accounts to protect group cash flow and strategically reduce ageing debt. This dynamic role requires you to proactively chase outstanding balances via phone and email, accurately allocate complex, multi-currency incoming cash across the ledger, and perform detailed account reconciliations. You will frequently investigate and resolve intricate invoice and delivery disputes, partnering closely with internal commercial and distribution teams to dismantle payment barriers. Regularly analysing aged debt reports to flag financial risks and reporting key performance metrics to senior management will also form a critical part of your daily routine.

Skills Required

• Extensive background in credit control with a proven track record of managing large corporate ledgers.
• Advanced query resolution skills with the ability to navigate complex distribution and invoicing discrepancies.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication capabilities to manage high-value stakeholder relationships.
• Advanced technical literacy including strong Excel skills and proficiency in major ERP software.
