Overview
Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established property investment and development business who are looking to appoint a Treasury Analyst to take ownership of their day-to-day treasury function. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this is a key role within the finance team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, control, identifying opportunities and continuous improvement of core treasury processes.
In this position, you will oversee secured investment loans, interest rate hedging and foreign exchange exposure. You will play a central role in maintaining accuracy across banking, debt and derivative activity, ensuring all reporting and control requirements are met in a timely and structured manner.
Alongside the operational responsibility, you will work closely with senior finance stakeholders including the Group Treasurer and Finance Director, contributing to cashflow forecasting, treasury policy development and wider risk management strategy. The role also offers scope to improve systems and processes, with a focus on automation, control enhancement and more efficient reporting. This role will also give you exposure to managment reporting including journals, balance sheets and P&L.
Skills Needed
- Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/ACT) or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of treasury processes, banking structures or financial controls.
- Knowledge of derivative instruments such as swaps, forwards, caps or options would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confident communicator, able to work across a finance team and with senior stakeholders.
