Are you someone who is eager to take on a new challenge? Have been working in Administration and thinking about taking on a new challenge within finance? Then this could be the role for you.

We have had an amazing trainee position become available for someone who is eager to make the change. This role will be coming in to support the business as a Finance Assistant alongside the Finance Manager. You will get involved with a range of tasks, including but not limited to processing invoices, reconciling the bank statement, setting up payment runs, generating finance reports, present cash flow figures and much more!

What makes this role even more exciting is what it can turn into for the right person. Ideally the business are looking for someone who has no finance experience or qualifications because this role is a complete trainee position where they will teach you everything you need to know about the role and then the business are also happy to provide study support for AAT! The role is currently being recruited as a temporary to permanent position, with the temporary aspect of the role more than anything a mini probationary period that is set up to last 3 months, due to the temporary nature of the role please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short notice period.

Skills required:

  • Have prior office experience, ideally from an administration or customer service role and be now eager to get yourself started within finance!
  • Be eager to learn and potentially even take on some studies, such as an AAT course.
  • Be a strong communicator, this role will require the successful person to interact with a range of different departments and teams within the business, so we are needing someone who is confident with this task.
  • Be confident on excel as there is a large aspect of this role which involves managing reports on excel and presenting these reports to management.
