We are currently supporting a well-recognised, fast growing business based in the Birmingham City Centre with the recruitment of a 12 month Collections Administrator role. This position is looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills and prior experience dealing with payments and collections from customers. The exciting thing about this position is the fact that they are not looking for someone with years of experience completing this role, but someone with a great attitude to learn who can be trained into a Collections Advisor/Credit Controller over time.


This position is within a property business and as a result you will be dealing with tenants and landlords on a daily basis, these calls require people to be compassionate and empathetic as everything situation will be different. Therefore, we are needing someone who has experience in customer service and someone who has had exposure to having a range of conversations over the phone regarding payments or peoples overdue accounts. This position is looking to start as soon as possible, so please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short notice period.

Skills required

  • Have prior experience working within customer service, this position will be handling tough conversations on occasion and having had experience with these kind of situations will be beneficial.
  • Have had experience with handling payment queries with customers before from a previous role, this role will be looking after chasing payments, organising payment plans, managing overdue accounts and generating reports on this for management.
  • Be someone who is very motivated to learn, we are looking for people who show initiative with their learning and are always pushing to improve their skills.
  • Be immediately available or on a short notice period.
