Trainee Accountants Assistant

Working closely with experienced members of the finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s credit control function while gaining valuable exposure across the wider finance department. Responsibilities will include proactively chasing outstanding debt by phone and email, building strong relationships with customers, resolving account queries, allocating customer payments, reconciling customer accounts, producing aged debt reports, monitoring credit limits, and supporting cash collection activities. Alongside your credit control responsibilities, you will also gain exposure to sales ledger, month-end processes, reconciliations, and management accounts as you develop, providing an excellent foundation for a long-term career in accountancy.

Ideally, you will have:

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
