Trainee Accountant

The role will primarily focus on supporting accounts payable activities while gaining exposure to sales ledger duties, offering valuable all-round accounting experience. Key responsibilities include processing supplier invoices, performing invoice checks, assisting with reconciliations, supporting payment runs, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will also assist with sales ledger tasks such as raising invoices, allocating payments, and helping resolve customer queries. In addition, you will provide general finance administration support and work closely with the wider finance team, making this an ideal role for someone proactive who enjoys learning and developing new skills.

Ideally, you will:

• Be a recent graduate or currently studying AATs, with a strong desire to build a long-term career in accounting and finance.
• Be motivated, professional, and eager to learn within a structured training environment.
• Demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail when working with financial data.
• Have a positive, committed attitude and be willing to take responsibility as your experience grows.
