Overview

Our client, a decorated property management firm based in the heart of the city is looking to bring a Service Charge Accountant into their developing Accounts function. You will gain fantastic exposure, reporting directly into the Financial Director to prepare and finalise the reconciliations of Service Charge accounts to a high standard, by maintaining the General Ledger and ensuring all imbalances are corrected.

 

Your analytical skills will be challenged as you complete variance analysis on final reports for non-financial stakeholders. You will be responsible for conducting the full review of Service Charge expenditure, posting journal transfers, accruals and prepayments as required

Skills required

  • Have prior experience within Property Accounts and/or service charges (preferred but not essential).
  • Be Part Qualified and actively studying in either ACCA/CIMA/ACA (desired but not essential).
  • Be a competent user of Excel, as this will be heavily used alongside Property software.
  • Feel as if you are a confident communicator, as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the day to day.
