Senior Client Accountant

Overview

Mitchell Adam are proud to be working with a leading Property Services firm to recruit an experienced Client Accountant into their expanding outsourced finance team. Supporting a portfolio of established property clients, this position offers the opportunity to become a trusted extension of each client’s finance function, taking ownership of reporting while developing long-term professional relationships.

Rather than operating as a traditional internal accountant, you’ll work across a varied client portfolio, preparing management accounts, reviewing financial performance and delivering meaningful reporting that helps clients understand how their businesses are performing. You’ll regularly discuss results with directors and key stakeholders, providing a professional, consultative service that goes beyond simply producing the numbers.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone coming from practice, outsourcing or client accounting who enjoys variety, autonomy and working directly with people. With every client bringing different challenges, the role offers excellent technical exposure while developing your commercial awareness and relationship management skills.

Skills Needed

• Previous experience preparing management accounts for multiple entities or clients.
• Strong understanding of P&L reporting, balance sheets and financial reconciliations.
• Confident communicating financial information to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail.
• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or actively studying towards qualification.
