Senior Client Accountant

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a growing boutique property management and investment business, who are looking to appoint a Senior Client Accountant to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while playing a key role in the continued development of the finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property professional to join a business at an exciting stage of growth, offering both immediate responsibility and genuine long-term progression.

Within this role, you will act as the senior finance contact across your portfolio, overseeing the delivery of accurate reporting, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring a consistently high standard of financial control. Working closely with surveyors, operational teams and senior leadership, you will be trusted to provide clear financial insight, resolve complex issues, and help support decision-making across the business.

Beyond day-to-day delivery, this role offers significant scope to influence how the finance function develops as the business grows. You will have the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen reporting structures, and play an increasingly important role in shaping the wider team, with clear progression toward leadership, team management and future Senior Leadership Team exposure.

Skills Needed

• Proven experience within client or property accounting, with strong technical understanding of management and service charge reporting
• Strong knowledge of budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, accruals and balance sheet reporting
• Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead on complex queries and build trusted relationships
• Strong systems and Excel skills, alongside a proactive approach to improving processes
