We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in account with our reputable client. This company is looking for someone on a short-notice to join their growing team in Birmingham City Centre. This is a long-term contract role perfect for someone who is looking to grow and develop within a well-established team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to gain further exposure to Accounts. Duties of the Accounts Assistant will include raising and processing invoices, completing bank and statement reconciliations and assisting with month-end responsibilities such as posting journals. It is a fast-paced environment, so the ability to follow initiative and great attention to detail is crucial.

Skills Required

  • Be an individual with great communication skills because you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders across the company
  • Have some exposure to accounts payable duties such as reconciliations and confidently answering queries, as well as knowledge of basic accounting duties ideally from AAT
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be confident following your own initiative
  • Be available on a short notice because our client is excited to grow and develop their team
