CALLING ALL PURCHASE LEDGER CLERKS – WE NEED YOU!!

An opportunity has come up for a Purchase Ledger Clerk within a fast-growing manufacturing business in the Wolverhampton area. This position is a 12 month fixed term contract and is an amazing opening into a wider finance team with opportunities to really strengthen any finance/purchase ledger experience you may have. The perfect person for this position is someone who has previous customer service experience who has minimum 3-6 months experience within a purchase ledger role who is now looking to strengthen these skills under the wing of experienced accounts professionals.

 

The successful candidate will be getting involved with a high volume amount of invoice processing, although you may have current processing experience, gaining experience in a high volume position will strengthen this experience ten-fold. Additionally you will be working on reconciliations, preparing for and auctioning payment runs, sending out remittance slips and resolving any finance queries. The finance team is a bustling, friendly, outgoing environment and they are looking for someone to join their fun-loving team, although it is a 12 month fixed term contract, there is very much a chance that this role will be extended or even taken on permanently after the 12 months.

Skills required

  • Have a minimum of 3-6 months experience within another finance role, either a Purchase Ledger specific role or a broader role with aspects of purchase ledger involved.
  • Have experience working on Excel, being confident with this software is key as a large portion of the companies reports are managed through excel.
  • Be an outgoing, fun-loving individual who will be able to slot into this team easily.
  • Be either immediately available or on a one week notice as this position is looking to get started as soon as possible!

  • Have the opportunity to manage your own hours, this business has some core hours (10.00am-4.00pm) however, outside of these hours you are free to shift your start and finish time however you like.
  • Receive ongoing support from Mitchell Adam throughout this position to ensure you are comfortable and receiving the training you need to excel and obtain that permanent position.
