The successful Purchase Ledger will be responsible for managing the accounts payable ledger with accuracy and efficiency. You’ll verify and process supplier invoices, maintain well-organised financial records, resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, and carry out regular payment runs. You’ll also handle remittance advice communications with suppliers and provide key support to the wider accounts team, contributing to the overall smooth running of the finance function.

Ideally, you will:

• Have proven experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role, with a strong track record of keeping the ledger accurate and up to date.
• Be confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office products such as Excel.
• Possess a keen eye for detail to spot and resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to handle supplier queries professionally and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
