Our esteemed client is seeking a motivated and positive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their stable Accounts Payable function. The business, in the property sector, are well established and have recently undergone growth through acquisitions. This would be the perfect opportunity to become an integral part of the established team!

This is a great opportunity to make a tangible impact on the performance of a successful business via effective relationships with clients. The nationally recognised company are anticipating a confident Purchase Ledger Clerk with experience in a similar role that can hit the ground running with the team. The role consists of daily processing of invoices, matching PO numbers and bank reconciliation. The successful Purchase Ledger Clerk will also assist in preparing the monthly payment run therefore exposure to this would be ideal, although not essential. Overall, the business is looking for great team fit, an individual that is conscientious, friendly and hard working.

Ideally, you will:

  • Have excellent attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and a strong personality (the ability to deliver excellent service to internal stakeholders and external clients alike is a key factor in the success of this role)
  • Previous experience working within the Accounts Payable function would be ideal for this role as the company are hoping for a Purchase Ledger Clerk able to seamlessly take on this role
  • Demonstrate confidence with working in a fast-paced environment with an excellent attention to detail ensuring al deadlines are met in a timely manner
  • Be proficient in all Microsoft packages including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
