Payroller

As a Payroller, you will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely delivery of the full payroll process within a busy finance environment. Your duties will include processing and checking payroll data, maintaining accurate employee records, handling payroll queries, producing payroll reports, completing payroll reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements and relevant legislation. You will also support payroll audits and other compliance activities when required. The successful candidate will be confident handling large volumes of data, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently while contributing to the ongoing improvement of payroll processes.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience working in a payroll position within a busy payroll or finance environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to accurately manage, manipulate and analyse payroll data
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively
