Overview

We are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer to fill a role based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity that falls within the Payroll and Pensions team. We are looking for an engaging self-starter who has the passion and people skills to support the company’s growth.

 

As the Payroll Officer you will be an integral part of the payroll team and working closely with the Senior Payroll Officer to ensure all tasks are completed. A key focus will be on processing end to end weekly and monthly payrolls, setting up pension schemes with various pension providers and liaising with all other departments.

Skills required

  • Possess the confidence and initiative to work in a fast- paced environment with tight deadlines and be trusted to be responsible for a number of duties
  • Have experience within a similar role and have the ability to demonstrate a high level of comfort in using accounting systems
  • Proficient in Excel and other MS products with a high level of attention to detail that will assist you in your day to day tasks
  • Be able to demonstrate strong communication skills that will allow you to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
