Payroll Manager

This established and fast-growing organisation, is looking to expand their Finance team by hiring an experienced, proactive, and personable Payroll Manager. This is a key role within the business, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll process and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

You will be confident managing a complex payroll function and demonstrate a strong understanding of payroll legislation and best practice. Working within a busy finance team, you will take ownership of weekly and monthly payrolls, manage payroll queries, and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, pensions, and statutory payments. You will work closely with HR and operational teams, building strong relationships across the business, supporting managers, and continuously improving payroll processes. Skills required

• Proven experience in a Payroll Manager or senior payroll role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong end-to-end payroll knowledge, including PAYE, pensions, statutory payments, and HMRC compliance.
• Confident Excel skills and the ability to work accurately with payroll and employee data.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive queries professionally and build strong internal relationships.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing priorities.
