Our client is the European division of a large and diverse international services group with their head office based in Birmingham city centre. They are now looking for an experienced Payroll Executive to join the team in a newly created role.

The business have previously outsourced payroll processing to a third party provider, the Payroll Executive will take responsibility for manipulating payroll information from 4 separate systems used by the group into a useable format, reporting on performance of the provider and identifying improvements in current payroll processes. The role reports directly to the Financial Controller and is seen as key to ensuring a smooth transition to the new process and then on-going development of the payroll service.

Ideally you will be:-

  • An experienced and confident payroll professional ideally with experience gained working in an outsourced payroll environment.
  • Able to work with numerous systems simultaneously, manipulating large data sets in excel to create monthly reports
  • Confident in assessing existing processes within payroll to identify issues in control and recommending improvements
