As a Payroll Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large workforce while working closely with the wider finance and HR teams. You will be responsible for processing payroll information, handling employee queries, maintaining accurate records, checking payroll data, producing reports, and ensuring all procedures are completed in line with company policies and legislation. The successful candidate will be confident working in a high-volume environment, managing large amounts of data, identifying discrepancies, and contributing to the smooth running of the payroll function.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous payroll experience within a fast-paced payroll, manufacturing, or finance environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to review and manage payroll data accurately
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities, with the confidence to manage multiple priorities within a busy team
