Part-time Payroller

As a Payroller, you will be responsible for confidently running the payroll process, including both hourly and salaried payroll, within a busy finance environment. Your duties will include processing payroll and timesheets, checking payroll data, maintaining accurate employee records, handling payroll queries, completing payroll reconciliations, and supporting with pension journals and account reconciliations. The successful candidate will be confident managing payroll independently, have excellent attention to detail, and be able to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently while contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of finance processes.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience working in a payroll position, with confidence running both hourly and salaried payroll within a busy finance environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to accurately manage and analyse payroll data, timesheets and financial information
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and the confidence to reconcile payroll and accounts accurately
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively
