Overview

My client is a long-standing, established retail business based in Birmingham. They currently have an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a small and friendly Payroll function on a permanent, part-time basis. You can work between 25-35 hours per week, and this can be across a few full days of your choice, or across 5 shorter days weekly.

 

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be assisting with the monthly payroll of around 500 employees. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate seeking part-time hours to join a friendly business where you will be made to feel like part of the team from day one.

Skills required

  • Be a driver due to location
  • Have start to finish payroll experience but payroll administration will also be considered
  • Have excellent communication skills- you will be dealing with payroll queries as part of this role
  • Be looking for part-time hours (between 25 to 30)
