We are supporting a well-established and growing business based in Birmingham City Centre who are seeking a capable and confident Part-Time Assistant Management Accountant to cover a maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong experience assisting month-end, who wants to contribute to a supportive, collaborative finance team within a successful SME.

In this role, you will play a key part in the month-end process, including the preparation and review of accruals and prepayments, as well as posting journals and assisting with ensuring all month-end tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Ideally, you will:

  • Have experience in a similar position with hands-on involvement in month-end processes and management accounts.

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Be part-qualified or equivalent (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) – desirable but not essential for the right candidate.

  • Be confident working independently, managing your workload effectively, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
