Part Qualified Accountant – Immediately Available

Overview

My client, a leading global provider of commercial equipment, have recently bolstered their product offering in Europe and is therefor looking to appoint an immediately available Part Qualified Accountant into their developing Accounts team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be confidently presenting to internal, non-financial stakeholders and assisting senior Accountants with the production of their month end pack, with a focus on contextualising data.

Typical duties in this role consist of journaling, creating financial reports and the analysis alongside. You will be analysing product performance against regions, identifying opportunities for sales and rebates by suppliers and fundamentally involved with the stock and costing process, scrutinising untapped opportunity and placing an emphasis on a smooth workflow. You will need to be organised and analytical to succeed in this fast paced role, with a personable nature.

What you will need

• Be available to start on a shorter notice (long notice candidates are able to apply but shorter is preferred).
• Be part qualified in your professional studies, with a view to qualify with this business, taking advantage of their study package.
• Have an Excel toolkit that you have previously used to scrutinise large data sets and present to less technical minded stakeholders.
• Be based locally to north Birmingham.
