Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded professional services firm who are looking to appoint a Client Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys combining strong technical reporting with regular client interaction, offering the chance to manage your own portfolio while becoming a trusted financial contact for a range of high-profile property clients.

Working closely with clients throughout the reporting cycle, you will be responsible for preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts, including full P&L reporting, balance sheets and detailed variance analysis. Beyond producing the numbers, you will present financial information directly to clients, walking them through performance, answering queries and providing clear, meaningful insight to support their decision-making. This is a role that places as much emphasis on communication and relationship building as it does on technical accounting.

Skills Needed

  • Previous experience producing management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis.
  • Experience working within an accountancy practice, outsourcing environment or client accounting role would be highly advantageous.
  • Confident presenting financial information and building relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse financial data and produce meaningful reporting.
  • ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, actively working towards qualification.
