Mitchell Adam are delighted to be working with a highly regarded Professional Services firm in Birmingham city centre, as they look to bring in a Part Qualified Accountant keen to step into a role that bridges the gap between practice and industry. This is an ideal move for someone who enjoys the variety and exposure of practice work but is now looking for a client-facing industry position where you can see the direct impact of your efforts.
In this role, you’ll manage the full spectrum of client accounting – from producing management accounts, cashflow forecasts and reconciliations, to preparing budgets, variance analysis, and financial reports. Just as importantly, you’ll be liaising directly with your clients, explaining results, answering queries, and building long-term relationships. It’s a blend of the technical and client facing work in Practice, with the added benefit of commercial exposure and industry insight.
Key Requirements
- Actively studying ACCA or CIMA, with the ambition to qualify.
- Experience preparing accounts and reconciliations, ideally within practice or a client-facing role.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach, eager to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.
