Management Accountant

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a long-established international wholesale and distribution business based in Birmingham. Operating across a varied product portfolio and working with national and international partners, the business has built a strong reputation within its sector.

Due to continued growth across the business, they are now expanding their finance team and have created a new Management Accountant position. This is a role offering exposure across different areas of the business, with responsibility for preparing monthly management accounts alongside budgeting, cash flow management and financial reporting. Working closely with senior finance professionals and stakeholders across the wider business, you’ll provide accurate financial information while gaining a strong understanding of the commercial operation.

Skills Needed

• Part Qualified or studying towards ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
• Previous experience in month-end process and preparing management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse financial information and identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
• Good communication skills, with the confidence to work with teams across the wider business outside of finance.
