Management Accountant

Overview

Mitchell Adam are pleased to be working with a rapidly evolving, niche clean energy business who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to support their expanding finance function. This role offers exposure to business partnering and full pack completion.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be involved in the preparation of monthly management information, supporting with accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations as part of the wider month-end process. You will also gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, helping to build a broader understanding of business performance over time.

Alongside this, you will begin to take part in full P&L reviews with site teams, working through variances and commentary to support a clearer understanding of performance. This will give you the opportunity to engage with non-finance stakeholders, helping to explain results and build confidence in presenting financial information.

Skills Needed

• Experience in the full preperation of the P&L.
• Actively studying (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) with plan to qualify.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data.
• Good communication skills and demonstratable experience speaking with non financial stakeholders.
