Management Accountant

Mitchell Adam are excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing SME construction business based near Tamworth, who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant ready to step into a role with real visibility and influence. Working closely with senior finance, you will be heavily involved in the production of monthly management accounts, quickly building ownership of the P&L and balance sheet. This role goes beyond reporting, you will be producing clear, insightful commentary and presenting performance to non-finance stakeholders, giving you the platform to influence decision-making across operational teams.

You will also gain exposure to project-level reporting, working closely with teams on site to ensure financials reflect reality, not just spreadsheets. With systems and reporting continuing to develop, you’ll be encouraged to challenge the status quo, improve processes, and help drive more forward-looking, commercially focused reporting, all while gaining experience with COINS in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Skills Needed

* Experience within a finance role with exposure to month-end or management accounts
* Confident with journals, accruals and reconciliations, with a strong technical foundation
* Strong Excel skills and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insight
* Experience with COINS or a similar construction system would be a distinct advantage
