Management Accountant

Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly expanding logistics group based in Wolverhampton, who are looking to appoint a recently qualified Management Accountant into a high-impact and progressive role. With continued growth driven by acquisitions and new ventures, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business at a key stage of its journey, offering exposure across multiple entities and clear progression for an ambitious finance professional.

Working closely with senior finance and group leadership, you will take ownership of producing management accounts packs across a portfolio of businesses, ensuring accurate and timely P&L and balance sheet reporting. You’ll liaise regularly with subsidiary finance teams and the parent company, supporting the integration of new acquisitions, embedding consistent reporting standards and assisting with process implementation. Alongside core reporting, you will contribute to budgeting and forecasting, analyse performance across entities and provide clear financial insight to support decision-making in a fast-moving, acquisitive environment.

Skills Needed

* Recently qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant with strong management accounts experience.
* Solid technical grounding across reconciliations, balance sheet control and financial reporting.
* Experience or exposure to M&A, integrations or multi-entity environments would be advantageous.
* Confident communicator, comfortable working across multiple businesses and liaising with senior stakeholders.
