Management Accountant

Mitchell Adam are pleased to be working with a long-established manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton, who are looking to appoint a capable Management Accountant to join their friendly and supportive finance team. The business has built a strong reputation within its sector and continues to invest in its operations, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys producing reliable financial information while working closely with colleagues across the wider business.

In this role you’ll take ownership of the monthly management accounts process, producing P&L and balance sheet reporting supported by reconciliations, variance analysis and clear commentary on performance. You will also support the budgeting and forecasting cycles and work alongside operational teams to understand production costs, margins and overall business performance. This role offers the chance to be involved in both the technical side of finance and the day-to-day commercial activity of a busy manufacturing environment.

Skills Needed

• Experience producing management accounts within a commercial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, balance sheet control and month-end processes.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting or performance analysis.
• A confident communicator who is comfortable working with colleagues outside of finance.
