Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a successful and well-established Manufacturing group based in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a commercially minded Management Accountant. This is a standout opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and wants to take the next step towards a business partnering role within a dynamic and growing organisation.

In this position, you’ll take full ownership of the monthly management accounts and play a key role in producing insightful analysis to support strategic decisions. You’ll prepare budgets and forecasts, analyse variances, and deliver meaningful commentary around sales performance, margin, and cost control. Beyond the numbers, you’ll collaborate with operational and commercial teams across multiple sites, translating financial data into actionable insight that drives performance.

Skills Needed

• Part-qualified or finalist-level CIMA/ACCA (or QBE with strong commercial acumen).
• Proven experience preparing management accounts and supporting forecasting and budgeting cycles.
• Confident communicator who can challenge and influence non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with a proactive mindset to improve processes.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar product-based business is highly desirable.
