Management Accountant

Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly expanding, multi-site Distribution business in their search for a Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious part-qualified or finalist-level accountant to make a tangible impact while developing the skills needed to progress into a Finance Manager role.

Working closely with an experienced Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the month-end process and deliver insightful reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support senior leadership. From rolling cashflow forecasts and balance sheet reconciliations through to variance analysis and management accounts preparation, you will be working across multiple sites within the group to gain partner with a variety of stakeholders. This position is designed to offer both operational involvement and commercial insight, ensuring you have the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making.

As the business continues its strong growth trajectory, you will play a key role in shaping processes and providing accurate, timely information to guide performance. In return, you will benefit from excellent mentorship, full study support, and a clear progression pathway into Finance Manager.

Skills Needed

• Actively studying ACCA/CIMA or at finalist stage.
• Prior experience producing month-end packs independently.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivots, large data sets, strong analytical ability).
• Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
