Management Accountant

Overview

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be supporting a fast-paced and expanding Distributor based near Wolverhampton in their search for a Management Accountant. This position has arisen due to internal progression and ongoing business growth, offering a unique opportunity for a hands-on and commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of a critical function.

This is a highly visible role where you will operate as the key link between finance and senior leadership. You will take responsibility for the preparation of full management accounts packs, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, ensuring that accurate and timely financial information is consistently available to guide both day-to-day decisions and longer-term strategy. Beyond the numbers, you will be expected to provide clear and actionable insights, helping to shape the direction of the business during an exciting period of expansion.

Key Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge of cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• CIMA or ACCA finalist / newly qualified (other relevant experience considered)
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence working alongside senior stakeholders
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ambition to progress quickly within the business
