Management Accountant

Overview

Mitchell Adam are thrilled to be partnering with an innovative logistics business scaling at around 50% year-on-year. They are seeking a dynamic right-hand to the Financial Controller, a candidate eager to immerse themselves across all areas of the company and help steer its continued growth. This is a brilliant opening for a commercially minded, part-qualified Management Accountant to collaborate closely with senior leadership, refine processes, take ownership of month-end, and drive improvements.

In this role, no two days will be the same. You’ll gain broad exposure across both commercial and operational finance, working deep within the numbers to understand what truly drives performance. Your responsibilities will range from supporting with reconciliations and transactional tasks, to preparing budgets, maintaining rolling forecasts, and analysing variances from large datasets to provide meaningful insight to the CEO and other key stakeholders.

Skills Required

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA, with the ambition to complete your qualification.

• Experience in an SME environment within a data-driven finance role, ideally having prepared month-end packs.

• Strong communication skills, able to confidently engage with non-finance colleagues.

• A commercially focused mindset, thriving in a varied and fast-paced setting.
