Management Accountant

Overview
Mitchell Adam have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and ambitious accountant to help drive the growth of our £5 million turnover, services client. As Finance Manager, you’ll report directly to the Managing Director and play a central role in a lively, enthusiastic team. Initially, you’ll handle the day-to-day finance operations while managing a small team. Over time, your focus will shift to improving systems and supporting the wider business strategy.

This is a rare chance to make a real impact in an SME. As the business grows, you’ll take more ownership of finance, with a clear path to becoming Financial Controller. We’re looking for someone who understands the full finance function, ideally ACCA or CIMA qualified (or with strong relevant experience), and who has helped drive change within an SME.

Skills Needed

• Hands-on experience in finance and operations, with a strong track record of improving processes.

• Confident communicator who can support and advise senior leaders.

• ACCA/CIMA qualified, or equivalent experience in SMEs, ideally in the service sector.

• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in helping a growing business succeed.
