Mitchell Adam is delighted to put pen to paper and establish a new partnership with an expansive construction organisation in Birmingham City Centre. In recent years this organisation has established themselves in their industry in the West Midlands, and have recently set their sights on further fields, as they grow their projects externally and their team internally. They are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team, they have not forgotten their roots and understand the importance of their staff, they provide a brilliant study support package and prioritise existing staff before looking elsewhere, their recent expansion has resulted in a need for a talented external addition to join their vibrant and passionate team.

As a Management Accountant, you will be completing responsibilities such as producing and presenting management accounts for directors and senior management. Once you have finished your probationary period, you will also be at times, solely responsible for the completion of your section of accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations, so some prior experience is required.

Skills Required

  • To be currently studying either ACCA or CIMA, or to have a strong intention to begin your studies in one of these qualifications.
  • To have experience completing month-end tasks, such as accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • To be confident and charismatic, and to have some experience presenting financial findings and reports to senior management. This will be a regular and routine part of your role, and it will be helpful to have some previous experience in presenting, or to have the confidence to take on this duty.
  • To have experience working as a Management Accountant previously, or to be ready to take the step up and take on some senior accounting responsibilities.
