Interim Financial Accountant

Mitchell Adam are partnering with a Global business based in Chippenham with their search for an immediately available Accountant to support the team in the role of Payroll Accountant, initially starting on an interim basis.

A successful candidate will take ownership of key payroll accounting activities within a complex, multi-entity organisation, helping to ensure financial records are accurate, reconciled and compliant. Partnering with teams across Payroll, Finance and HR, you’ll investigate discrepancies, maintain robust financial controls and support reliable reporting, playing a vital role in the smooth running of payroll finance operations.

Ideally, you will:

• Be a qualified or qualified by experience accountant with strong financial accounting, payroll accounting or within a similar role.
• Have an understanding of UK payroll elements, including PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and other deductions, and how these feed into financial reporting.
• BE a proactive, dependable and collaborative approach with strong communication skills and a focus on accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement.
