Interim Finance Manager

Mitchell Adam are partnering with a highly successful organisation that is renowned for delivering integrated technical and industrial support services to major clients. They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team based at a client site in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a fast-paced operational environment, working closely with both finance and site leadership teams.

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small finance team while acting as a trusted business partner to operational leaders. You will oversee the monthly management accounts process, forecasting and budgeting cycles, provide insightful financial reporting, and support commercial decision-making to drive business performance. You will also ensure strong financial controls and compliance while building effective relationships across the wider finance function.

Ideally, you will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or be in the final stages of your studies with experience in management accounting, financial accounting and business partnering.
• Have previous experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial services or operational environment.
• Be confident working in a fast-paced setting, adapting to changing business priorities and operational demands.
• Possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Have experience with fixed assets accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
• Demonstrate previous people management or supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and develop a small team.
