My client is a long established, family run business based in the West Midlands, and they are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a temporary to permanent basis.

Sat within the finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join a long established team with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.

Skills required:

  • Proven experience in a payroll position, with the ability to process payroll from start to finish
  • Strong knowledge of UK Payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills to deal with any payroll queries
