My client is a leading Coventry-based business, and they are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk on a temporary to permanent basis.
Working in a medium-sized finance team, you will be solely responsible for the Accounts Payable function; processing a high volume of invoices daily, dealing with supplier queries, performing supplier statement reconciliation, and processing payment runs weekly. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business where you can take ownership of the accounts payable function as the business grows.
Skills required:
- At least 12 month’s experience of working within a busy accounts payable role; processing a high volume of invoices and performing payment runs yourself
- The ability to travel to Coventry daily, ideally by car due to location
- Have a strong command of MS Excel and finance systems
- Be a people person with the ability to forge strong relationships with suppliers
