My client is a global Professional Services organisation and they are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable clerk to join their team on initially a temporary basis due to an influx of new work.

Working in a large finance team and reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your responsibilities will include the processing of a high volume of invoices, dealing with any supplier queries, performing supplier statement reconciliation, and preparing for payment runs. This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door within a large organisation where opportunities will no-doubt present themselves to the successful candidate.

Skills required:

  • At least 6 months prior experience within an Accounts Payable role
  • The ability to commute to the city centre office location daily for at least the first few weeks of the assignment for training
  • The ability to maintain an exceptional level of accuracy whilst working at speed
  • Be able to build long lasting relationships with suppliers by providing an excellent level of customer service
