My client is an international manufacturing business based in Solihull, and they are currently recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join their team on initially a temporary basis.

Working amongst a large finance team, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices on to a financial system, dealing with supplier queries, and performing supplier statement reconciliation. You will report into the Accounts Payable Manager for this role, and due to the size of this company, the right candidate will no doubt be presented with opportunities for permanency and progression.

Skills required:

  • An exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent inter-personal skills; you will be dealing with supplier queries in this role so the ability to build a rapport with suppliers is important
  • Prior experience within Accounts Payable is preferred, but candidates with transferable experience will also be considered
  • Have a great command of MS Excel
