My client, established for over 30 years, is a unique and fascinating business with 40 sites across the UK. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on initially a temporary basis, supporting the Accounts Payable Manager with a backlog of work caused by a change in system.
Joining a small and friendly transactional finance function based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, dealing with queries, and assisting the Accounts Payable Manager with the payment run. This is a fantastic opportunity to get an excellent company name on your CV with the potential for this role to become permanent.
Skills required
- Have at least 6 months experience within an Accounts Payable role
- Be immediately available for a start
- Have an excellent command of MS Excel, ideally including Pivot Tables and V Lookups
- Be able to work at a fast pace whilst retaining an exceptional attention to detail
