Head of FP&A

We’re an ambitious and growing business in the asset leasing sector, looking for a forward-thinking Head of FP&A to lead our financial planning and analysis function. This is a pivotal role, providing strategic insight and commercial challenge to support decision-making at the highest level.

As Head of FP&A, you’ll take ownership of the group’s financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes. You’ll partner closely with the leadership team, driving financial insight and ensuring robust, data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, asset-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the FP&A function, ensuring delivery of accurate forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.
• Partner with the senior leadership team to provide insight and commercial challenge.
• Build and enhance financial models to support business growth and new asset leasing opportunities.
• Develop and deliver management information that supports strategic decision-making.
• Drive improvements in reporting, forecasting, and analytical processes.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the FP&A team.
• Play a key role in supporting external stakeholders, including lenders and investors.

About you

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Proven background in FP&A, ideally within asset management.
• Commercially sharp with strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to influence at board level.
• Proactive leader who enjoys driving process improvements and building high-performing teams.
