Overview

We are working with a FTSE 100 retail organisation who are recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their close-knit financial reporting team.

This is a newly formed role that will see you report to Head of Financial Accounts. You will be responsible for the statutory reporting of a number of legal entities and the oversight of complex balance sheets. As an experienced Financial Accountant you will take the lead for the year end audit process. You will also apply your knowledge and skillset by implementing process improvements across the financial accounting department.

In this position you will be part of a close- knit team and managing one direct report. As your role develops there will be further opportunity to grow your team.

What is required

Be qualified by ACA or ACCA.

It is essential that you have experience consolidating group reports and group reporting.

Have industry experience. This role would be best suited to a second time mover or for an individual who has over 3 years in an industry Financial Accounting role.

Be strong with excel and system use. This role presents many opportunity for process improvement.
