Financial Controller

A dynamic and fast-scaling private equity-backed services business is looking to appoint a Financial Controller to play a key role in their ongoing growth journey. With turnover having trebled in the last three years and now exceeding £100m, the business is entering its next phase of expansion – including active M&A.

This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity to take ownership of the finance function and lead a talented team through continued transformation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting future acquisitions, including full involvement in due diligence, system migrations, and integration planning.

You’ll work closely with a high-calibre CFO, shaping financial strategy, embedding controls, and driving improvements across process, reporting, and systems. The pace of growth requires someone with a strong technical foundation, commercial acumen, and the ability to operate confidently in a change-heavy, fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Previous experience managing and developing teams
* Background in larger businesses or complex group structures
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
* Exposure to private equity and audit leadership is highly advantageous
