As a Financial Accountant, you’ll play a key part in the statutory reporting and financial control of a global business with a strong reputation for excellence. Reporting into a senior finance leader, you’ll gain exposure to international entities, technical accounting, and commercial finance, all within a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for UK and overseas entities in line with IFRS/FRS 102
- Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Maintain robust financial controls and assist in implementing process improvements
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Assist with tax and regulatory compliance across various jurisdictions
- Partner with wider finance and business teams to deliver insight and support decision-making
What We’re Looking For:
- ACA qualified (or equivalent), ideally trained within a Big 4 firm
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
- Excellent attention to detail, with a passion for accuracy and continuous improvement
- Effective communicator who can collaborate across departments and geographies
- Commercially aware with a willingness to get involved beyond traditional reporting
