An innovative and consistently growing company is seeking a reliable and driven Finance Team Leader to join their expanding finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transnational finance experience across Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and Expenses, who is ready to take ownership of team supervision while continuing to develop their leadership and process improvement skills within Accountancy.
You will oversee all cashiering activities, including bank reconciliations, transfers, and foreign currency transactions, and review and process all supplier, customer, mid-month, month-end, and ad-hoc payments via the company’s banking facilities. Responsibilities also include managing company fleet administration, reviewing credit limit requests and credit notes, submitting quarterly Intrastat reports, proactively managing Concur to ensure timely invoice and expense processing, supporting the Head of Finance with relevant finance activities, and ensuring adherence to monthly reporting deadlines while contributing to the wider objectives of the Finance team.
Ideally, you will have:
- Extensive experience in transnational finance with typical strength that lie within Credit Control and Accounts Receivables. Experience with managing a team is desirable but candidates willing to learn and demonstrate transferable skills will still be considered.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify process improvements and supporting Head of Finance through changes and transformations.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. monitoring the teams KPI’s and enhancing the departments overall success.
- Be competent with IT skills. Experience using an ERP system and Microsoft Dynamics is desirable.
