A first class leisure provider based in the heart of Birmingham is actively searching for a talented Finance Manager on a temp to perm framework. If you are immediately available, have experience in a similar position and relish a great deal of responsibility from day 1, then this may be the perfect next step for your career.


This hybrid Finance Manager position is packed with a broad spectrum of activities; from producing all journals/reconciliations for month/year end to conducting commercial analysis to create new revenue streams, you’ll never be bored in this hands-on position.


Extra responsibilities include optimisation of financial processes, maintaining the fixed asset register with depreciation reconciliations and liaising with IT to supervise system implementation. On top of this, the successful candidate will act as the direct report to their own team of finance assistants. As such, experience in a managerial position will be advantageous.

Skills required

  • Be immediately available, part qualified in CIMA/ACCA and have experience in a similar Finance Manager position.
  • Be comfortable adopting a lot of autonomy and accountability over your workload, being given the freedom to operate as you wish.
  • Consider yourself an effective communicator who is capable of liaising with internal and external stakeholders alongside adequately managing your team.
  • Possess drive, diligence and determination, with a commitment to putting your best foot forward.
