Finance Manager

Overview

Mitchell Adam are pleased to be working with a well-established SME services business based in Solihull, who are looking to appoint a hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of their day-to-day finance function. This is a sleeves-rolled-up role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail, while still being involved with strategic decision making, within a growing, owner-led environment.

Reporting directly into senior leadership, you’ll oversee management accounts production, maintain strong financial controls and ensure the smooth running of transactional finance. Alongside month-end reporting, you’ll assist in managing budgeting and forecasting, rolling cashflow, balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc analysis. You’ll work closely with operational teams to review margins, monitor costs, analyse revenue streams and provide insight that supports commercial decisions.

Skills Needed

• Proven experience in a well-rounded Management Accountant or Finance Manager role within an SME or services environment.
  * Strong technical grounding across management accounts, balance sheets, cashflow and financial controls.
  * Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
  * Confident communicator, comfortable partnering with non-finance stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
